TEARS OF JOY HONEY BEES!
Even BETTER than I had hoped it to be. This generation’s Thriller.
A few thoughts:
- Lady Gaga just wanted to prove that she doesn’t really have a dick.
- I don’t think the video went along with the song whatsoever. Talking about being in a club and whatnot, while she’s in jail.
- She was being pretty stereotypical about lesbians in the prison system.
- I wonder how much money she got from that phone company for the advertising she just gave them.
- I read somewhere that she didn’t get along with a record label/magazine/idr because they wanted her to be “over sexual”…
- It had a wanna-be Quentin Tarantino feel to it. I’m not just saying that because of the Pussy Wagon, which was probably the only thing I liked about it besides Beyonce. The whole diner scene was Pulp Fiction-esque and I didn’t like the way they did it.
- She goes out of her way to be weird/stand out/be “artistic.” I didn’t mind it in Bad Romance because I read an article about all the symbolism in the video and it actually made sense. The woman isn’t dumb by any means, but she’s trying too hard now.
- I’m mad I wasted 9.5 minutes of my life watching this.
Just my opinion though.
